One, start by switching your hands. Two, as you move your arms relative to one other, keep them as close as possible to the centerline. 
Three, bring your knee up as quickly and as high as possible, with your toes pointing down. 
Four, push your knee in the direction of your target. This will let you to turn your body sideways. 
Your supporting foot will naturally pivot so far that its heel will almost be facing your center line. 
Five, when your knee is fully lifted and your body is rotating sideways, release your lower leg and your foot, 
extending your leg fully before you hit the target with your foot. 
Six, instantly snap your heel back, so that your leg is completely bent. 
Seven, come back to your initial position. 
Eight, at the end of your kick, you should have your legs fully extended, and your body should be positioned in line with your legs. 
Don’t stick your butt out backward – instead, engage the muscles of your lower back.
